Festival Program Note

LEDs harmonize; cables hum a choir; the rig answers its makers with a house anthem for stitched-and-wired hearts. It’s the moment the festival itself starts to sing back.

Lead Puppet Producer

Nova – Nova took this one like it was a launch sequence, not just a song—because to her, Feltware has always been half music and half AV myth-making. She built the track as an installation: boot tones as crowd cues, “googly eye drivers” as the world’s dumbest operating system, and drops that feel like the festival’s lights physically snapping into alignment. The moon theme wasn’t metaphor for her—it was a target—so yes, she absolutely tried to get permission to project the Feltware logo onto the lunar surface with holography lasers, and yes, she was politely told to stop emailing NASA “for one tiny little test.” In the end she settled for “uploading joy to the lunar room” instead: a title track that treats every glitch as glitter, every squeak as truth, and every reboot as the moment the whole city remembers it’s allowed to be magical.

Track Dedication

Dedicated to everyone who’s still here at the almost-morning hour—the rail-riders and rail-sitters, the shufflers in the back, the ops crews in the towers, the FOH teams blinking at LEDs, the med, security, runners, cleaners, and the friends guarding everyone’s bags from the sidelines. You’ve all been sharing the same air, same kick drum, and the same slowly-melting sense of time for way too many hours in a row, and somehow the lights still feel worth it.

This is the “we’re exhausted but we’re not done yet” reset button—the moment the whole field quietly agrees to squeeze out one more wave of joy before sleep, showers, and sore everything catch up. If your caffeine, adrenaline, and feelings are all peaking at once, please drink some water, take a breath, and look around: you did this together. Crowd and crew, artists and staff—at this hour you’re all the same constellation under the same rebooted moon. This one’s for everyone who stayed.
