Camilla’s Clockwork Cluck Crew
Narrative & Festival Context
Festival Program Note
Feathers line up with military precision as the BPM climbs past polite territory. A lead hen calls the steps—left, right, spin, stomp—each cue harder and faster than the last. What starts like a dance craze mutates into a professional endurance test. If you can keep up, you’re certified. If not… observe from a safe distance.
Lead Puppet Producer
Riff – Riff thought she was producing a schranz / hardstyle track. Camilla thought she was staging a war drill. Within ten minutes it was clear who was actually in charge. Camilla barely commented on sound design—but she had sixteen-count combinations mapped before the first kick was finalized, demanding specific BPM ranges, exact drop lengths, and clean, unforgiving transients because “we land on that.” Riff leaned into it, tightening the kick until it felt like a metronome with teeth, carving space so every stomp, neck snap, and talon pivot would read from the back rail. The half-time bridge wasn’t for vibe—it was for breath control before the burst. By the final render, Riff admitted something rare: this wasn’t a dance track with choreography added. It was choreography that forced the music to become sharper, faster, cleaner. Camilla didn’t produce the song—but she absolutely engineered the pressure.
Track Dedication
I know I said this album was avoiding dedications, but I’m cheating—again. This one is for the dancers, hype crews, stage teams, flag squads, mascots, and everyone whose job is “just be eye candy” for a bigger name on the poster. Again.
You’re not set dressing. You’re athletes, storytellers, and energy generators—holding choreography, timing, facial expressions, and crowd connection all at once while making it look effortless. For every rehearsal in an empty hall, every bruise covered in makeup, every night you hit your marks so someone else can look iconic on camera: feathers up, heads high. You’re part of the show, not the wallpaper.
