Untold — The Stories You Don’t Hear, Because You Heard Music

An in-development Bobku album about the stories that happen around the music — the ones you miss because the music did its job.

In Development Singles Releasing Over Time No Filename Titles X & Y Naming Pattern Hidden Stories

Untold is currently in development. The album will grow gradually as singles become available, with the finished release taking shape around stories that are not always obvious from the dancefloor.

The guiding idea is simple: the stories you don’t hear, because you heard music. Not because the stories are unimportant — because the show was loud, the crowd was moving, and the people making the night possible did their jobs well enough to disappear into the moment.

Album Status

Untold is not a finished album page yet. It is a placeholder for an album that is actively being developed, with singles expected to appear as they are completed and released.

As more songs become available, this page will be updated with track details, release notes, story context, and links to individual song pages.

Administrative honesty: this page will be updated as information becomes available. If I can get around to it. I’m still debating whether updating the webpage is more important than making the music.

What Untold Is About

Where earlier Bobku albums often point directly at a job, a failure point, or a specific moment in the Feltware Festival run-of-show, Untold is aimed more at the spaces between those moments.

These are the stories that get buried under the kick drum: the conversations backstage, the tradeoffs behind the curtain, the strange alliances, the quiet recoveries, the forces pushing against each other while the crowd only hears the drop.

The album is still part of the Bobku world, but the lens is shifting. Less “here is the system.” More “here is what the system costs, connects, hides, or reveals.”

Title Trivia: No Filenames This Time

If you know the Bobku catalog, you may notice the naming convention is different for Untold.

No filenames this time. No logs, no config files, no weird extensions pretending to be track names.

Instead, the album is built around interactions between different groups, forces, or ideas. The titles take the form:

X & Y (Subtitle)

That pattern is intentional. Untold is not just about single roles or isolated scenes. It is about what happens when two things collide, cooperate, misunderstand each other, or quietly hold each other up.

Singles and Future Updates

Singles connected to Untold will be released as they become available. Some may appear ahead of the full album as previews, detours, or early glimpses into the direction the record is taking.

Once enough of the album is locked, this page can expand into a more traditional release page with:

Until then, consider this the marked-off corner of the workshop where the next thing is being assembled.
